South east dog rescue - SEDR

About South East Dog Rescue (SEDR)

Founded in 2009, South East Dog Rescue (SEDR) is a dedicated no-kill rescue and rehoming centre based in Dartford, Kent.

Their mission is simple yet powerful. To give abandoned, neglected, and unwanted dogs a second chance at life, by finding them safe, loving forever homes.

Working across the UK, SEDR focuses on saving “death row” dogs from council
pounds, dogs who would otherwise face euthanasia without their help.
They also step in to support families who, due to difficult life
changes, can no longer care for their beloved pets.

Over the years, SEDR has built an incredible reputation for stepping in when
others can’t. Helping some of the UK’s most vulnerable dogs who have
been abused, starved, or neglected.

Run entirely by a small but dedicated team of volunteers, SEDR ensures every dog in their care is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before finding their new home. For dogs who cannot cope in a traditional environment, SEDR provides lifelong sanctuary at their centre. A safe and loving place to call home.

Every dog adopted through SEDR comes with rescue back-up for life, meaning they are never truly alone and neither are their adopters.

As a non-profit organisation, SEDR relies solely on donations and the kindness of supporters. They receive no government funding, and every penny raised goes directly towards helping dogs in need.

At the end of 2024, SEDR received heartbreaking news. Their kennel site
and home were being sold. Although they have since been granted a
12-month extension to remain until June 2026. Their future beyond that date remains uncertain. They urgently need to secure a new long-term site or safe boarding spaces for their sanctuary dogs to ensure their life-saving work can continue.

By purchasing this special edition gift set, you’re helping SEDR keep their doors open and give countless dogs the second chance they deserve.

Thank you for making a difference one beautiful scent, and one wagging tail at a time.
